Every rug is hand cleaned in our spacious studio. We never use machines and each rug's textiles and colors are thoroughly tested to formulate the appropriate cleaning solution.

For Home Owners
Your fine area rugs can last for generations if properly cared for. Artisan’s
technicians are highly trained, educated and experienced at caring for
all types of handmade rugs. We also clean many Karastans and other machine-made
pieces. Your rug is a “fine” rug if you like it. Period. This is at the
heart of our philosophy.
We don’t just “deliver” your rug to you when we have finished caring for it, we install it your home. We assist homeowners in positioning the rug for maximum impact. We will not leave until you are satisfied with the placement of the rug.
After every project, we send out customer survey cards to monitor our performance. We can proudly report that we have 100% customer satisfaction with our promptness, courtesy, information provided and results.
For Collectors
Many of our clients are serious rug collectors. They return to us
again and again for antique rug care because they are pleased with
the results. We invite collectors to our studio to discuss our approach
to cleaning antique textiles and to watch us work. We love to talk
about rugs and we are delighted when a collector brings an interesting
piece.
